Affects system run-time operation. Detected by: Scanv58+, IBM Scan. Removed by: MDisk/P. Scan Code: "MSDOS Vers. E.D.V." appears at the end of the boot sector on infected floppies. The EDV virus was first reported by David Chess at IBM. It is a boot sector and partition table virus.
